SANTA
ROSA, April 18 - Volunteers
are being sought to staff five summer
lunch sites in Cotati and Rohnert
Park under the Redwood Empire Food
Bank's Every Child, Every Day Summer
Hunger Initiative.
The
summer lunch program, now in its

or reduced price lunches during
the school year don't go hungry
when schools close down in June.
This
year the food bank plans to operate
40 lunch sites throughout the county
including five sites in the Cotati/Rohnert
Park area.
Lunches
are provided free. The program runs
from June 11 - August 10.
Volunteers
are needed to help receive and distribute
lunches and to lead activities for
children.
In
most cases, the volunteers are need
for about 90 minutes to two hours
a day. Volunteers are asked to make
a minimum commitment of one day
a week but are welcome to volunteer
for additional days. The food bank
is seeking help from organizations
and individuals.
