The second annual Can
Creation was held at
Coddingtown Mall from February 8 through February 21. Can
Creation is a community event hosted by Network
for a Healthy California and the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
The event takes place each year during Canned Food Month and
helps to educate people about the importance of eating healthy
on budget and the importance of donating healthy non-perishable
food items that will then be distributed to the 70,000 people
in need of food assistance each month here in Sonoma County.
Can Creation is fun, educational, and raises awareness about
hunger in our community.
For more information or to learn about how your organization
can participate in next year's event please contact Billy Bartz,
