In Sonoma County over 26,000 children
qualify for free or reduced price
school meals. The Child Nutrition
Reauthorization Act which funds
school nutrition programs and WIC
is up for renewal and we are asking
for additional funding to ensure
that this valuable safety net for
children at risk of hunger thrives.
